Sensing KPI Sensing Key Performance Indicator
A Sensing KPI (Sensing Key Performance Indicator) is a metric used to characterise and compare the performance of radio-based sensing capability, covering aspects such as position or velocity accuracy, resolution, missed-detection probability, false-alarm probability and sensing latency, defined alongside conventional communication KPIs as part of ITU-R (International Telecommunication Union Radiocommunication Sector) and 3GPP work to establish requirements for ISAC (Integrated Sensing and Communication) in IMT-2030/6G systems.
