Network Automation Insights - Intent-Based Autonomous Networks
Course Details
This Network Automation Insights series provides a set of short, focused introductions to the technologies, architectures and operational concepts driving the move towards more autonomous networks.
Across the series, learners explore practical automation with Ansible, intent-based networking and TM Forum APIs, closed-loop and self-healing use cases, autonomous network levels and domain design, as well as emerging approaches such as digital twins, AI-driven optimisation and agentic AI. Together, the modules show how automation is evolving from individual tools and workflows into coordinated, policy-driven and increasingly intelligent network operations.
This course explains the standards and vendor work behind intent-based operations, the three 3GPP intent types, how intent decomposes across business, service and resource layers, and what makes a closed loop intent-driven.
