RNTI – Radio Network Temporary Identifier

A Radio Network Temporary Identifier is used to identify a UE when an RRC connection exists. The following types of RNTI are defined: C-RNTI (Cell RNTI), S-RNTI (Serving RNC RNTI) and U-RNTI (UTRAN RNTI).
