LMP – Link Manager Protocol

The Link Manager Protocol in Bluetoothª is used for link set-up, security and control. The signals are interpreted and filtered out by the LM (Link Manager) on the receiving side and are not propagated to higher layers. Link Manager messages have higher priority than user data and therefore shall not be delayed by other traffic.
