Integrated TN-NTN Integrated Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial Network
Integrated TN-NTN describes a 6G (Sixth Generation) architecture direction in which TN (Terrestrial Network) and NTN (Non-Terrestrial Network) access, such as satellite and high-altitude platform systems, operate as a single integrated system rather than as separate overlay networks, sharing common management, mobility and service continuity functions to provide seamless handover and consistent service experience as a UE (User Equipment) moves between terrestrial and non-terrestrial coverage.
