eRedCap Enhanced Reduced Capability NR
An evolution of RedCap (Reduced Capability), introduced in 3GPP Release 18, that targets even lower device complexity, cost and power consumption. It reduces the supported baseband bandwidth further, to around 5 MHz, for the simplest mid-tier IoT (Internet of Things) and wearable use cases.
