The MCX Insights series is a modular collection of short, focused videos that builds a working understanding of Mission-Critical Services. This series is useful for those new to the subject, people moving from a legacy radio background, and experienced practitioners looking to fill specific knowledge gaps.

It covers how mission-critical voice, video and data are delivered over LTE, 5G, IMS and MCX, and how this differs from traditional land mobile radio such as TETRA and P25. Each video is a clearly defined subject from basic concepts through to advanced deployment, interworking and migration topics.

This Insight training explores MCPTT group-call establishment, including pre-arranged, chat, ad hoc and broadcast calls, SIP/SDP signalling, group call setup, QoS bearer creation, media establishment, late entry and floor-control procedures.

How long do I get access to the course?

On-demand courses are accessible immediately following purchase. Each course will have a different access period ranging from 3-6 months on average.
