Course Details
This course explores how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are being integrated into 5G-Advanced through the latest developments in 3GPP Release 19. It introduces the evolution toward AI-enabled networks, covering both AI for the Network and Network for AI concepts. Participants will examine key AI/ML enhancements in the RAN, including beam management, positioning, mobility, and load balancing, as well as core network capabilities such as the NWDAF, NEF, PCF, federated learning, and signalling storm prevention. The course also covers AI/ML lifecycle management, inference and deployment scenarios, closed-loop automation, and emerging study items shaping future releases beyond 5G-Advanced.
