Course Details
This course provides an insight into some of the fundamentals of 5G radio propagation and is part of a set of courses focusing on 5G Radio Planning. It summarises the impact of frequency and distance on the path loss and the impact different clutter types and objects have on the signal. The concept of a radio planning propagation model is introduced, as well as the requirement for terrain, building and foliage data. Finally, the concept of a link budget is summarised and typically values for 5G given.
