5G Policy and Charging Control
For 5G network applications such as Voice over New Radio, network
slicing and MEC (Multi access Edge Computing), policy and charging
control is a critical element of the 5G architecture. This course
explores the main concepts behind PCC, before then looking at the
specific detail of the 5G PCC architecture, along with key aspects such
as non-session and session related policy control. The three main
elements of PCC Rule Binding will be discussed, before concluding with
an exploration of charging in 5G.
