On-demand courses are accessible immediately following purchase. Each course will have a different access period ranging from 3-6 months on average. You can continue to access the Mpirical learning platform after your course licence expires; however, you won’t be able to view any course content or learning tools unless you are a paid customer. You may, however, download the course reference document during your access period to keep indefinitely.

If you purchase an on-demand course you will gain access to the full set of videos associated with the course, a test of understanding, a detailed reference document and a certificate of achievement on completion. You also benefit from automatic access to our ‘Ask the Trainer’ feature and get 1 month access to our acclaimed network visualisation tool, NetX.*

If you’re just getting started, we recommend beginning with our introductory courses, which focus on core concepts and practical foundations. If you already have some experience, our intermediate courses help you deepen your skills and apply them in real-world scenarios. For those with significant prior knowledge, our advanced courses provide specialised training and complex projects to refine expertise.

Our learning platform also offers a Help Desk, where you can get help with any technical issues you face when accessing the course or platform.

If you have purchased a course as an individual, you are only able to access this on-demand. If you have purchased a course for a team or enterprise, you may speak to one of our client solutions team to enquire about the change of delivery.

Our 4G/LTE courses are designed for various levels of expertise, from beginner to advanced and are appropriate for anyone in the telecoms industry.

You do not need prior knowledge for all our courses, however for some of our more advanced courses we may suggest prerequisites. Check the course flyers to find this information.

Most of our 4G content is available as on-demand video training as well as delivered live onsite or online, however some courses are only delivered live and some only on-demand. Check each course page to ensure delivery is in the format you’re looking for.

We cover a wide variety of 4G topics including LTE system architecture, Analyzing the EPC, LTE Protocols, carrier aggregation, LTE-Advanced, VoLTE and VoWi-Fi, NB-IoT, LTE-M, and mission-critical services.

We regularly review our courses in line with 3GPP specifications and update the content where appropriate. However, LTE is a mature technology so there tends to be less focus on this area in the very latest 3GPP specifications.

Yes, you will receive a certificate on completion of any 4G course. In addition, our courses can help you earn CPD points.
