The pandemic has shaken almost every industry in the world in so many ways, and as we navigate our way through (and hopefully out of) it, there is a lot to consider about the lasting effect on our organisations and our employees. Professional Training has seen an unprecedented rise during periods of global lockdown, where many employees, unable to fulfill their usual day to day duties, have been encouraged to engage in training.

Our own industry report into Learning and Development in Telecoms, released last summer, showed that 73% of telecoms professionals were urged by their employers to take up training during lockdowns – and many have gotten a taste for it. 75% claimed they would aim to take up more training opportunities as lockdowns eased and work returned ‘to normal’.
