NDT Network Digital Twin
An NDT (Network Digital Twin) is a virtual representation of network assets, topology, state and behaviour, kept synchronised with the live network through continuous data feeds and used to simulate, predict and validate configuration or optimisation changes before they are applied to physical infrastructure, an area of active study for IMT-2030 (International Mobile Telecommunications for 2030 and beyond) and 6G (Sixth Generation) aimed at supporting closed-loop automation and safer testing of AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) driven network management functions.
