Wi-Fi Calling

Wi-Fi Calling is closely associated with VoLTE, utilizing the same IMS infrastructure but obviously supporting the voice service across a different transport bearer network. This course will explain the commonalities and differences between Wi-Fi Calling (VoWiFi) and VoLTE, from an architectural and operational perspective. The security associated with the Wi-Fi network will be examined, as well as the high level call procedures. In conjunction with call procedures, the mobility and interworking aspects of the service will also be examined.
