Evolved EDGE

Building upon the GSM and GPRS Air Interface Course, this course is designed to outline the fundamental architecture and operation of Evolved EDGE, also known as EGPRS2. As such, the technical aspects of the EGPRS2 feature set will be discussed, with focus on the radio techniques utilized such as carrier aggregation, higher order modulation and receiver diversity. Resource allocation and operation are also explored, with emphasis on RRC modifications and coding schemes.
