When dealing with the day to day issues of managing a complicated multi faceted mobile cellular network, it is clearly important for the network engineers to understand how to perform the various procedures and tasks that confront them. However, to begin to truly start to optimize the network and maximize the return on investment, service providers must ensure their staff understand the why.
Having spent several years designing and delivering detailed protocol analysis courses to Tektronix’s system engineers, it rapidly became apparent that this type of training was also required by their customers, the service providers. In being able to blend the detailed operational knowledge of our subject matter experts with Tektronix’s industry acclaimed network assurance tool - GeoProbe we were able to develop a series of Advanced GeoProbe User classes covering all key technology areas. These courses, which are delivered on the customer’s own network to insure the highest degree of relevance, feature numerous hands on labs and troubleshooting exercises to ensure engineers leave with, not only a thorough appreciation of how to analyze the network but more importantly, a deeper understanding of the significance of the information they are presented with. In essence; an ethos of proactive engineering rather than one of reaction.
These courses are now delivered to Tektronix’s customers throughout Europe and North America.
