Changes in Motorola’s business process created a shortfall in their internal resources leaving them unable to effectively develop, manage and deliver business critical learning solutions to channel partners. The urgency of the issue dictated that Motorola look for a proven learning partner who could take over the management, delivery and development of this wide portfolio of learning services.
As a long running provider of technical training Mpirical were a natural choice. After an initial planning period a totally outsourced learning partner model was developed. This model included:
Delivery - Mpirical skilled a group of their high calibre trainers to ensure all aspects of Motorola’s portfolio of learning could be delivered.
Management - Using Mpirical’s Learning Management System the logistics of training from scheduling, booking, access to learning resources and in some cases the delivery of learning will be put in place.
Development and Improvement - through careful analyses of the learning process Mpirical will work closely with Motorola to enhance and streamline the learning services being offered. This will result in more efficient and cost effective learning for channel partners.
Using this model Motorola have maintained vital services to their channel partners, ensured the continuity of high quality learning and dramatically reduced the overheads associated with this service. In fact the service is likely to generate a healthy income for Motorola.
