Learning Zone
Mpirical have been a pioneer in the development of blended learning. This is a combination of e-learning, instructor led training, virtual classroom training and student self study. We have embraced many of the Web2.0 services and features available today to enhance our blended learning philosophy.
At the heart of our learning delivery is our LMS (Learning Management System). We call this the “Learning Zone”. Through the learning zone you have access to the following features and services.
Pre-Learning - prior to the instructor based sessions you have access to pre-learning that prepares you for the session. This includes multimedia based lessons explaining key concepts that you need to understand. This learning is re-enforced through quizzes and checks of understanding.
Tutorial Resources - on Mpirical courses all learning resources including course notes, practical exercises and models are provided in digital format. You also get links to useful references, white papers and research journals.
Virtual Classroom - you will access the virtual classroom through the Learning Zone. What is more you will have access to recorded virtual sessions, where appropriate, should you have missed the live session or just want to review the concepts discussed.
Certification - attending an Mpirical course is recognized through our unique certification service. Many of these certificates can be used to indicate prior learning on our MSc programme, delivered in conjunction with Middlesex University.
