PHSS - Payload Header Suppression Size

A term used in IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) 802.16 networks to describe the length of the PHSF (Payload Header Suppression Field) in bytes. This value is equivalent to the number of bytes in the PHSF and the number of valid bits in the payload header suppression mask.
