ENUM is an IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) proposal in which DNS (Domain Name System) systems will be used to translate E164 telephone numbers into URL (Uniform Resource Locator) and IP addresses. The RFC (Request for Comments) for the proposal is RFC 2916.
