WiMAX Planning Primer (1 days or 6 hours)

The IEEE 802.16 study group have shaped the format and operation of the WiMAX air interface, for both fixed and mobile based services. The WiMAX Forum have responsibility for all aspects of interoperability of the air interface through their certification program. This course examines the work done by the IEEE 802.16 group and the WiMAX Forum and is intended for those who will be attending further training in the form of mpirical’s WiMAX Planning Course.

Who Should Attend

Radio Planners requiring an understanding of the WiMAX Air Interface and operational procedures. Radio Engineers and Planning Staff involved in the deployment and management of WiMAX Networks.
